Thank heavens Plaid is making such a strong comeback, because it is beautiful. Plaid is more of a cold weather pattern, as it looks so great in wool. The combination of straight lines and a thicker, more heavy weave make for such an inviting marriage. Fashion Paradise has scoured the Fashion world in order to bring you these three gorgeous coats that we think are true winners! Plaid is a Scots language word meaning "blanket", which is so appropriate because in any or all of these three gorgeous coats, you'll feel as if you are wrapped in a warm, yummy blanket! There you have it: delicious, warm comfort all wrapped into a beautiful, fashionable statement ... and then wrapped around your beautiful bod. Can you think of anything more wonderful?!

The Fashion designers of the past ninety-two years all seem to be of one mind when it comes to the subject of the trench coat: it needs to be re-designed every four months. Years have passed, but still the garment has not reached a final state; meanwhile the rest of us only get one shot at a first impression. It is no matter whether the one who wears the trench coat is an actual trench-dweller or simply one who rides in elevators all day; the designers all have their opinions regarding the fluctuating number of straps and 'D' rings. There has been no end to the amount of cleverness applied to the re-treading of the garment and through the years we have been treated to doggy trench coats and lady's evening gowns cut to resemble trench coats.
