Founded in Parma, Italy in 1978, Coccinelle has become world known for their minimalistically designed, sophisticated handbags, each one carefully created with classic style in mind. Beside the fact that this is a company that truly cares about creating beautiful fashion (exhibit A: Today's wonderful offerings,) Coccinelle is a company that truly cares about the world beyond fashion. One example of such is their program "Kids Helping Kids" which features canvas bags with artwork painted by children and offers all proceeds to hospitals and foundations for sick children. Then there is their extensive and ongoing work with disabled Haitian children, in their "House of Little Angels" project which has, over the past 2 years, helped hundreds of children who would have otherwise been forgotten and left to suffer.
