Isn't this just the very best time for a weekend stroll? The weather is still deeelicious but the crowds have died down. The evenings are just a bit cooler and then there are those gorgeous scents in the air: Mother Nature's last dance before the big sleep commences. Whether you're strolling in a fabulous Antique Flea Market or somewhere in Soho, down a country lane or down your own block, it's important to be wearing the right outfit, for comfort, and of course for your usual characteristic fabulousness. Fashion Paradise has combed the far reaches and come back with this faboo ensemble that is sure to cover every necessary base, and then some. Each component of today's outfit is fantastic on its own but together, it's perfection. You'll feel that spring in your kickin' step as your feet fall into every right place - no knowing where today's road will take you, but you can be sure you'll be arriving in style!

For that timeless Annie Hall/Greta Garbo look, a Masculine Tailored Blazer is a must have. Whether you wear it with pants (and a tie,) jeans, or even a cute little retro dress, the look is always fun and sure to get you in through so many cool doors. The trick is to buy the right blazer for you. It has to appear oversized and manly, but fit you through the bust and especially right in the shoulders (otherwise you run the risk of looking like something the football team dragged in.) So, although the look is manly, the fit is pure fun and absolutely power-to-the-fem adorable! 

Goddess bless those in-between stages when there are times of heat mixed with ever increasing little nips of cool-in-the-shade .. or even better, colder nights. Yes, fall approacheth, and with it comes some beautiful fashions. Summer Cotton Trench Coats are a definite thumbs up to that fickle Mother Nature because, not only are you armed against whatever the thermometer/barometer might be telling you, but you are ready with the perfect ammunition to take any outfit, be it ho-hum or faboo, and make it into something clean-lined and complete , not to mention totally snazzola. You know what I mean. There's something about a fabulous coat that can make you know that you look so well put together. So we are so glad for the opportunity ... you're welcome.

When I think of the style icons this outfit takes me back to, I think of Barbara Eden (the later "I Dream" seasons,) Barbara Streisand, and my mother's years- ago close friend, Laurel Cavanaugh (forgive sp?) .. oh, and my mom's favorite red belt with the clasping hands that I can still see so clearly to this day. Other thoughts come up too, when I least expect them. Today's outfit plucked a special heartstring for me. It brings me back to a younger time -  my earliest years, but it could have been what I imagined someone else's formative adult years to be. I simply flew over memories and thoughts and watched them from above.

For you it might be a trigger for that stylishly fabulous era from old Sunday afternoon movies on the cable free channels, or perhaps that indifferent high school girl that was so cool and seemed so rude (which kind of helped with the cool-factor) to you 6th graders. If it ain't today's homage of style, it'll hit you some time .. you'll see. Either way, it's beautiful ... and introducing of thoughts

Today's ensemble is all about '50s flavored fun: frisky, very female, definitely coquettish and ready to drop everything and start dancing to the next great tune that comes along.
